TCEQ Approves Agreed Order with Total Port Arthur Refinery
Port Arthur, Texas (August 25, 2010) – The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) approved an Agreed Order today for $493,200 with the Total Port Arthur Refinery.
The Total Port Arthur Refinery has worked with the TCEQ to resolve these past problems that cover a reporting period between November 2004 and November 2005. The issues in this enforcement action were self-reported as required under the Clean Air Act-Title V program, which governs the operating permit of the refinery and requires an annual filing. Total’s Port Arthur Refinery Donates $120,000 to Training Group
Port Arthur, Texas (July 1, 2009) – Total’s Port Arthur Refinery will donate $120,000 to the Golden Triangle Empowerment Center at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 1 at the Center’s classrooms located at 710 Stillwell Street in Port Arthur. Beaumont, Texas (August 25, 2010) – Geoffroy Petit, Chief Executive Officer of Total Petrochemicals USA, Inc., will address the Golden Triangle Business Roundtable’s annual Contractor Safety Awards luncheon on Aug. 31 at 11 a.m.
